Unity for Autism
A charitable foundation uniting families affected
by autism with heroes across our nation.

One of our objectives is to showcase the excellent work of many service providers of autism to the corporate community through our signature fundraising event, a first class golf tournament. This fundraiser, held in September of 2007 at Devil's Pulpit, raised $225,000 net from a single shotgun. The monies from that event combined with donations received throughout the year supported many wonderful organizations here in Canada. The charities that were supported in 2007 were:

Autism Speaks Canada, Camp Winston, Children at Risk, Christian Horizons, Halton Child and Youth Services (ROCK),
Janus Academy, Jennifer Ashleigh Children's Charity, L'Amitient, National Service Dogs, Precious Minds, Woodview Learning Centre.

Unity for Autism is pleased to announce that the following organizations will benefit from our fundraising success in 2008. Congratulations to each of you and commend you on your innovative proposal! You are making a profound difference on the lives of many individuals with autism and their families! The exact amounts will be determined and dispersed by December 2008. Unity for Autism would like thank all applicants and encourage you to reapply next year. (please view examples of previous grants approved by our Board, under "examples")

When there is unity, there is always victory!
